How is it 40% off?? I actually questioned it because it wasn't anywhere obvious on the menu but it is! The sushi itself is actually not bad either so it's such a huge value

The fish is pretty good quality and enough that it doesn't feel cheap. And at that price, you can't really beat it anywhere else.

On a weekday dinner it was really quiet and service was pleasant. This might be my new go to place for sushi

Whenever I'm in the mood for delicious sushi, Hoshi Sushi is always my choice.

- Redesigned with sleek, modern interiors, it offers the ultimate backdrop for great dining experiences.
- A wide selection of sushi and rolls offers a fantastic dining experience.

To further elevate Hoshi Sushi's appeal and maximize its potential, the following enhancements are recommended:

1. **Visible Menu Stand:** An easy-to-see menu stand outside will help passersby quickly see what's on offer and encourage them to come in.

2. **Marketing Banner:** A bold banner featuring a QR menu code can draw more attention to Hoshi Sushi, showcasing its best features and specials.

3. **Patio Upgrade:** Updating the outdoor dining area is necessary. Transforming the cramped, outdated patio into a modern, welcoming space with extra room will enhance the outdoor dining experience. Additionally, the fences require a makeover.

In my view, implementing these suggestions will not only enhance Hoshi Sushi's curb appeal but also significantly contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere that attracts a wider range of customers.

We were staying in the Anaheim area and drove out about 20 minutes to have a sushi dinner at this casual Japanese restaurant.

Arrived around 7 PM on a Saturday evening. There was no wait.

We started with a lychee martini, which was really nice. Not heavy on the alcohol, which we liked, but others may not.

Edamame and appetizer was quite generous. We also also had the baked muscles which I highly recommend.

My sister ordered the Michelle roll. She really liked it but it was heavy on the sauce. Something to consider if you ordered this.

The Bento boxes are a great deal. They come with the miso soup, salad, two pieces of Gyoza, and your choice of protein and sushi.

We all thought the food was delicious.

And on top of all that, it was 40% off. Really not sure why but there's something in the website that explains this.

Food was really good and the service was good as well. Would definitely return.

My family was craving some sushi and we were contemplating between AYCE and a pay-per-plate sushi restaurant. We decided on the latter and came to Hoshi Sushi and that was definitely the right choice! A good sushi spot should be quality over quantity, and Hoshi Sushi delivered. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The customer service was immaculate. The restaurant was spacious and the ambiance would be excellent for date night or just dinner with some friends or family. Everything tasted delicious so it was hard to pick a favorite. From the presentation to the taste, it was all fantastic! The kids loved the salon sushi, so we had to order that twice. There was a lot more on the menu that I wanted to try, so I'm definitely coming back. If you're in the mood for some quality sushi, I would highly recommend this place.

I came in super hungry and got the 2 choice combo plate that came with soup (not pictured). It was really good. I ordered the sashimi with two pieces of salmon and two pieces of tuna too. The slices were so thick and tender!! The salmon was like butter. The chicken cutlet was large and it filled me up. Together, they satisfied me greatly. My friend got the 2 combo with the tempura variety which had a huge onion and broccoli! I thought it was a unique choice. For drinks, I got a midori sour for the first time and it tasted like a soda so I wish they went a bit heavier on the liquor but it was only $8. Happy hour is 7 days a week from 8pm-close so come late! Service was friendly and fast too. Mostly men and they were nice. They say the Japanese word when you come in/leave which I love. Ambiance was kpop music and modern interior with good lighting for food.

The food tasted good. It's hard for food to be mouthwatering to me but this was still good to eat.

My other fam got rolls which I didn't get a picture of but they did look good.

Miso soup and udon noodles were good as well.

Service was good. We had a lady waitress and we had a bigger group with two kids and he she patient with them and was very sweet and would get to his eye level when he would order something. Very courteous of us. She makes it 5 stars lol.

They give away complimentary ice cream for everyone at the end :)

My husband and I have been coming to Hoshi for years and can't get enough of it. Even after recently moving two cities away, we still make any excuse we can to make the drive to have dinner with them. We always appreciate the quality of the food and the amazing service they provide.

If you are thinking of catering with them, do it. I recently had my 30th birthday and my husband ordered catering with them and we were so impressed. The platter was so beautiful and everyone complimented how delicious the food was. Not only will we continue eating here, but we will definitely order catering with them again.

This is my go to sushi spot as my boyfriend and I are regulars here. We love the dedication and care that the sushi chefs exhibit through their craft. The photo speaks for itself. If you want quality fresh sushi come to Hoshi and try it for yourself.

Recommended we Oder more then 5 diferentes dishes and all were delicious

The service is nice and the ambience is very relaxing and romantic. The sushi is so FRESH and flavorful!
We will be coming back often!
